Phase 3
Airman have achieved a high level of knowledge and proficiency and are expected to act as role models for given standards. Airmen are also expected to professionally correct minor uniform, bearing, and general citizenship discrepancies.
Duration: Days 45-180 at technical school
Curfew: 10pm to 4am on duty days, no curfew on weekends
- Remain on station and in uniform during duty hours.
- Appropriate civilian attire is allowed after duty hours on or off base.
- Attend physical conditioning three times a week.
- Weekend travel radius is 150 miles.
- Consumption of alcohol allowed on weekends if Airmen are of legal age (1700 Fri – 1700 Sun on/off base only in civilian attire).
- May not possess/consume alcohol in dormitory or immediate area.
- May purchase/possess/consume tobacco after duty hours in civilian attire after formal brief on hazards of tobacco.
- Will march during duty hours. (Anytime in transit while in uniform).
- May ride and operate a privately owned vehicle, but not during duty hours or to and from school.
- Subject to room inspections twice a month.
- Airmen who are identified as superior performers, possess a 90% or higher academic average, and have a fitness composite score of more than 90 points may be approved by the squadron commander for acceleration into Phase 4 on the 120th day of training.
